OFFICE OF CHIEF & PRESIDENT
The Native Council of Nova Scotia (NCNS) in accordance with its Constitution and By-Laws is accepting nominations for the 2025 NCNS Office of Chief & President.
The deadline for nominations is 4:30 pm July 24th, 2025.
The NCNS Universal Suffrage means that the NCNS Office of Chief & President will be elected by the NCNS Full Members and other Aboriginal people who reside off-reserve and who are 18 years of age by Sept. 6th, 2025. Aboriginal people residing off-reserve who wish to participate in the 2025 NCNS election of Chief & President must pre-register by 4:30 pm August 13th, 2025.
